Joy DIY Christmas Shirt
For good craft shopping, I have to drive an hour and a half away. Meanwhile, in-person shopping has become a thing of the past. With COVID being our new norm, I have become a great on-line shopper. When I was scrolling through the Amazon app I found some infusible ink sheets that were red buffalo plaid. I love Buffalo Plaid! I wear it all the time because it is Husker colors and I love the Huskers. I purchased it and it was in my possession in 2 days.
Joy Snowflake Design Perfect for Winter
With this buffalo plaid pattern, I wanted to make a shirt that I could wear throughout the Christmas season and even on some snowy Husker game days as well. I searched on the Pazzles website and found a snowflake that I really liked. I knew I wanted to put this on the shirt but just a snowflake was too plain. So, I looked around the house and I have the word JOY in many of my Christmas decorations. So, I made a shirt that incorporated these two winter things here in Nebraska.
Complete the Look with a Plaid Button-Up
After making this shirt and trying it on I fell in love. I have a perfect Buffalo Plaid button-up to go over the top and decided that I was going to make some Buffalo Plaid and black earrings to go with it as well I cannot wait to wear them all during Christmas!
The font used for “JY” is Century Font (included with Microsoft) modified
