Interactive Retro DIY TV Card
Hello everyone
Today I want to share with you this retro vintage project I created to highlight some of my trips to Europe photos. It is an actual interactive retro TV with changeable channels to create a little more fun for your viewing pleasure.
Interactive Channel-Changing Wheel
The idea that came to me was what about creating a retro TV with changeable channels with the photos I want to show, I just knew it would be the perfect way to showcase my favorite photos
So I designed a retro TV. Then I created a wheel with a place for four mats so that I can use the favorite photos I wanted to display.
Make As a Card or Add On
For the layout itself I wanted the layout to look like a retro scene with retro TV on shelf with lovely fabric doily (real vintage doily) below it, books & vintage wall paper behind the TV (real vintage wall paper).
This project can be resized to create interactive card or scrapbooking page like I did (my page measures 12*12 inches.
Acetate TV Screen
I also added acetate to the TV screen to add more vintage accent to the project too.
Supplies needed:
cardstock
vintage wall paper & vintage doily piece
distress ink pads
archival ink
embossing folder to add texture to one of the cuts (optional)
brads
gilding wax
scrapbooking pattern paper
Distress metallic paint
Acetate
