DIY Recycle and Trash Labels
Earth Day was earlier this month and this year I am more aware than ever of my responsibility to care for the environment. We are not in an area that recycles, so I have to collect my recyclables and drive them to a center myself. So far, that has meant some weird piles and bags of plastics and cans. I knew if I was going to recycle with any sincerity, I needed a better system.
Vinyl Labels for Any Home
All you need for this project are two trash bins and a little vinyl. This works very well for the cupboard built-in trash too, you can just put the sticker on the exposed side. I don’t know how many times I have asked at someone’s home “do you recycle?” and with these stickers, no one will have to wonder!
Make in Any Color and Size
You can customize the colors and size to suit your taste. Perhaps you want something small and chic, or maybe you want to make the recycle emblem green. By the way, you can cut these in paper or fabric and use them in many other places as well! I hope you enjoy it!
Supplies:
Two trash cans of any material or size (must have a solid surface)
Vinyl in any color
