Trash to Treasure Cowgirl Vinyl Sign

 Cowgirl-Vinyl-Sign

We can all agree that a staple in almost any home is the infamous junk drawer. It’s the place where we throw batteries, loose change, small light bulbs, buttons, tacks and rubber bands. I’m always intrigued by what I find floating around in mine. When I started to rummage around this morning I found two drawer pulls from a dresser and two old handles from the outside faucets and a ton of matching brass tacks. Paired together with this cute frame I had here at work I thought hey, I could make something really cute with these! I love turning trash to treasure and making re-purposed gifts. Pinterest has made this overwhelmingly fun. I have literally thousands of things pinned I want to make, and when I can’t find the time to make them myself I love when friends make them for me! I used this Cowgirl Title from the Craft Room Library, cut it out of red vinyl and adhered it to the glass inside my frame. I used the tacks to act as accents for my horseshoes. Next, I drilled holes in the frame so I could screw on the drawer pulls and faucet knobs. I’m going to use this to hang in my dressing room for my necklaces and hair scarves. What do you have lying around your house that could use a little extra accent and Inspiration?
