I always wanted to add handwritten journaling to my scrapbook pages, but I always felt like my handwriting messed up the page. Besides fake handwriting, I love it for card sentiments. The software is so much more than a tool to cut, draw, emboss, pierce, distress etc. It offers a world of possibility for creative expression in so many ways. With so many files available in the Pazzles Craft Room, we are able to create just about anything for any occasion. Recipe for total typography fun – many Craft Room files – a quote obsession/collection – and a font collection/obsession mix together and voila! By selecting a saying or quote that you love, all you need to do is play around with the fonts and sizing together with a Craft Room file or two to ‘decorate’ it. Song lyrics are great for this too.
Today we are doing our homework! It is back to school time and everyone is getting prepared. I have created two quick back to school items using one file from the Pazzles Craft Room. I am using the School Pencil file to help both the teacher and student! A note "FOR" the teacher. I found an over-sized clothespin at the craft store. Mine measures just under 5 inches in length and over 1 inch in width. I used my Pazzles software to draw a rectangle representing the clothespin. Then I placed the rectangle on top of the pencil file, and re-sized the pencil to fit just around the clothespin.

I am a big believer that the right colors can transform a so-so project in to a FABULOUS project. Some people have a natural gift for putting together colors I would never consider. I, however, tend to be on the safe side sticking with colors that are tried and true and rarely venturing in to new territory. This is NOT something I like about myself but that is simply the way I am wired! I do love to use interesting color palettes, I just don't have the knack for coming up with them myself. Even though I don't mind my own handwriting, I still love the pen tool for journaling. I just can never get my lines as straight on my own, not to mention how easy it is to misspell something as you are writing it and after that there is no going back! So I love the pen tool, but one day I noticed something was wrong. I had all these little loops in my letters that shouldn't be there. There IS an explanation the answer is actually very simple.
