It’s typography week in the Pazzles Craft Room. Each day this week the Design Team will inspire you with projects based around numbers and letters. We hope you pick up a new technique or find something that you can’t wait to try out yourself!
Have you ever used your Pazzles Inspiration or Vue to create printables or wall art? The software is so much more than a tool to cut, draw, emboss, pierce, distress etc. It offers a world of possibility for creative expression in so many ways.
With so many files available in the Pazzles Craft Room, we are able to create just about anything for any occasion. Recipe for total typography fun – many Craft Room files – a quote obsession/collection – and a font collection/obsession mix together and voila! By selecting a saying or quote that you love, all you need to do is play around with the fonts and sizing together with a Craft Room file or two to ‘decorate’ it. Song lyrics are great for this too. Once you are happy with your layout and colours, you can either choose to cut out your elements in cardstock or vinyl and assemble, or simply print directly onto cardstock.
The creativity quote I chose from Einstein, allows the typography to be the ‘hero’ with the Watercolour Stripes giving it some extra depth.
The bicycle quote uses the beautiful Bike with Basket of Hearts file and then a flourish from Flourishes set of 7 that I duplicated and then mirrored to frame the wording. The dash line is simply a straight line drawn and then selecting a different line style and colour to fit with your design.
I hope you have loads of fun creating some wall art, or cards or whatever you choose! Playing around with typography and quotes is so much fun and maybe you’ve found another awesome way to use your software!
