Making dimensionals can be very intimidating but add the complexity of SHAPED dimensionals and FORGET IT! Well, at least that may be how you feel, but the truth is that you can make some stunning shaped dimensionals, like this acorn bag, without being a grand master in the Inspiration Studio software.
Now that you have seen our ideas for Valentine's Day, it is your turn! Remake one of our valentines or make a new valentine and show us your creation! Your Valentine can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, just do something! The only rule is NO recycling from last year! Remember the point of the challenge is to get you doing new things with your Inspiration!
This clever and very easy card reveals a monster when you open the card. I am sure some little monster in your life will love this card!
These adorable pencils are actually a cleverly disguised Rolo candy with a Hershey's Kiss tip! These are very very easy to make and so cute! Great idea for teachers!
Often when I am talking to people on our designer chat or through email they are wanting to make a shaped card but don't know how. So I've had in mind for a while now to make a video on creating shaped cards. They are just so easy and so fun that I think even beginners will be able to master the few simple steps.
A few weeks ago we asked for volunteers to test our new Adobe Illustrator plugin and help us work out the bugs and make suggestions for improvements. We have selected a group of lucky individuals for our first round of beta testing so if you volunteered to join the beta team make sure to check your email (and your spam folder) to see if you were selected! If you weren't don't be discouraged, we will be inviting more people to join the beta team as we get closer to launch so keep checking your email! If you would like to volunteer to be part of the beta click here to find out the requirements and how to sign up!
Pazzles is developing a plug in that will allow users to cut directly from Adobe Illustrator! This is an especially exciting new feature not only for fans of Adobe Illustrator but also for MAC users who will be able to cut projects without having to switch to a Windows based operating system! While we are still in the development stages, we are looking for a few very special customers who would like to participate in beta testing for this exciting new feature! Keep reading to see the list of requirements you will have to meet in order to be part of the beta team and find out how to volunteer to participate!
New year's eve comes so closely on the tails of Christmas that in the aftermath of Dec. 25th I have a hard time preparing anything much for it. This year however I (and now you too) am prepared! I know you are probably still doing last minute Christmas shopping, baking, wrapping, cleaning, traveling, planning.....So your mind is probably not looking towards 2012, but it is just around the corner! Don't fret though, this whole spread is amazingly simple to make and looks so cute! In fact I only used 4 sheets of black paper and 4 sheets of double sided patterned paper to do EVERYTHING!

Wow can you believe that today is our last day of the 12 boxes of Christmas? We have had so much fun reading your comments and looking at the absolutely amazing boxes you have added. If you haven't seen the boxes made by craft room members go check it out right now! You guys truly are incredible artists and we love seeing your work! Perhaps I shouldn't admit it but I have to tell you that out of the boxes that I personally made, this one is my favorite. It just screams "cozy Christmas" to me.
A simple and elegant box that is exceptionally easy to make and large enough to hold mini candies. Great for favors at a wedding, shower, or party!
I think there is something about a uniquely shaped box that just gives it that little extra something. I mean honestly, would this box be nearly as pretty if it was a square shape? I just don't think so! I think this pretty little box would be a wonderful way to package up a piece of jewelry or a pretty hair clip. Also it is about the perfect size for a truffle...just sayin'!
The survey is closed- be watching for an announcement of upcoming retreats!
Are you going out of town for the holidays, maybe to the inlaws, and you want to bring a gift with you? Or maybe you are just going to be a dinner guest somewhere soon and really want to bring something special with you to thank them. Maybe you just really want to show someone how much you love them. What about combining your cooking and crafting skills to make a delicious pie all packaged up in a beautiful hand crafted box? I really have a hard time thinking of any gift I would rather receive!
Happy Halloween!! We hope you are well prepared for a night filled with trick or treaters, scary movies, adorably spooky costumes, and of course candy! Here at Pazzles we thought we'd celebrate Halloween by sharing our mad scientists with you. I often refer to them as "the techie guys" but I think the term "mad scientists" applies quite well. In fact after seeing them at the Pazzles Retreat I don't think I can think of them as anything else! Get this cutting file in the library!
Congratulations to createwithkelly for participating in the October Challenge. Createwithkelly made this adorable hibiscus by altering the bag cutting file provided for our October challenge and has won the random drawing! I can tell you all really had fun with this month's challenge; your bags are amazing! I love all the different and wonderful ways you guys came up with to use the bag. If you haven't seen all of the amazing projects made for the October challenge make sure to go here now and take a look. Don't forget to check back on November 1st for another challenge!
Halloween has become less about the candy over the years and more about the food, and good friends at our parties. I always like to bring the hostess of the event a little surprise and I thought this would be a perfect gift for our Halloween get together this year. What a great way to dress up a bottle of sparkling apple cider or your favorite bottle of wine to go along with all the goulish snacks and dips. I even included some wine tags with some cute sayings on them so that you don’t lose your glass at the party. It’s another great way to customize your glasses with either your guest’s names, or just to put a smile on their faces. “Witch”ever you decide to make, I hope you and your friends enjoy a very spooky, Happy Halloween!

So here is a handy guide for you to see all of our past and present Halloween projects!
The weather has taken a sharp turn towards winter this week here at Pazzles and it is impossible to deny any longer that summer is over and fall (winter?) is here. Though I have always been a warm weather person, I can't help but feel a child-like excitement start to bubble up in me when I realize that the holiday season is upon us. I love the memories, activities, and traditions that surround every holiday and some of the "heavy hitters" are just around the calendar corner!
