Pumpkin Treat Boxes

October Challenge

I am so excited about this months challenge because it came about because of yesterday's class of creating a Treat Box. The Challenge is to use the Treat Box Base file and create your very own fun Treat Box. The ONLY shape you cannot use for this challenge is an actual pumpkin, because I want you to stretch yourself and come up with another fun shape that will create a cute box.

September Challenge Winner

Congratulations to our winner daffyd1963. Not only did she show us her amazing title, she also shared the file, so you can cut your very own. Have you seen the really cool projects that were created in the September Challenge? We used the DISTORTION TOOL and there are some really great ideas there. Be sure and go take a look here. Thank you to everyone that participated. It was really fun to see the different ideas and concepts used.

September Challenge

For September's Challenge we are going to be focusing on the Distortion Tool. This is an easy tool to use, but is also very under used, because I think that we sometimes forget it is there. If you haven't used or discovered this tool yet, there is a video (about 3/4 down page) as well as our class from Tuesday, August 30, 2011 to help you see some of the potential and fun of this tool

Congratulations to our August Challenge ...

Congratulations to wranglersport for participating in the August Word Book Challenge. It was so much fun to see everyones amazing word books. I love all of the different looks, all done with the same basic concept. What an amazing thing that we can do with our cutters to make it even more valuable to us. If you haven't taken the time to go look at all of the great word books, go here now and do that.

August Challenge-Word Book or Word ...

Word Books have been around for a while. Did you know that the 'craze' got a huge boost when one of our Pazzles Design Team member created one on her Pazzles machine many years ago? I love using word books in the 'non-traditional' way. I have made them smaller and used them as a card, plus I think they would be great to use as a birthday party. Cut them out for everyone and let them assemble them, using photos from the party would not only be a fun activity, but a great party favor. I would love to see what you create. Even if you are a new to your Pazzles creating wordbooks is something you CAN do, because basically you are using a square and letters.

July Challenge Winner

Wow, if you haven't had a chance to check out the amazing overlays that have been created for this months challenge, don't waste another minute and click here to see them. This months winner of the Challenge (selected by random drawing) is breitbuds with this really cool hunting overlay. Congratulations breitbuds!

July Challenge

Each month we have a Challenge here at Pazzles to help encourage you to step out of the box and/or step up in your box. The exciting thing about the challenges are that they are for the brand new beginner as well as the veteran. as it is a participation challenge and we aren't going to judge you on your project. If this is your first time to participate, take just a minute and go read more about it here. Don't worry if you have never uploaded and/or don't know how to upload a project or photo, there are instructions here to help you with that as well, so come on, join us for the fun.

June Challenge Winner!

I so loved seeing the beautiful projects everyone posted for the June challenge "something old, something new, something blue". I have to say I love the idea of using something old in my projects. I find that even the silliest small things that are part of our every day life can become a treasured memory later on. If you didn't get a chance to participate in this month's challenge I encourage you to go ahead and give it a try now and share your projects in the Challenge albums. There won't be another drawing for this month (we'll have a new challenge up in a little over a week) but we would love to see what you do! Now on to our random drawing winner (drum roll please!).....

June Challenge

June is notoriously known as a wedding month and I am sure many of you have at least one or two weddings ahead of you this summer. So when Klo asked me to do the challenge this month I thought, why not use the oldest wedding saying I know as inspiration?

May Challenge Winner

I didn't forget, I have just been out of the country, so I apologize for the announcement of the winner being a few days late. That being said, Congratulations to MCGAHIE for winning the May Challenge.

May Challenge

This month we are using the Video's to unlock the power and potential of your pazzles machine. The challenge is to watch and use something you have learned from a video to create your project. If you are a beginner, use the basic videos, if you know a little more, try something you haven't done. The purpose is to challenge yourself to think outside of YOUR BOX.
