Monthly challenges

November Challenge

I am so excited, I have been waiting to post this challenge.  It is going to be an anything goes challenge. The only rule we have (other than you have to use your Pazzles Creative Cutter), is that your project needs to be completed during the challenge. After you have completed your item, be sure and go add it to the November Challenge Folder. If you are not sure how to add your photo to the folder, be sure and go here to learn how to do that. We want you to join us.

October Challenge Winner

My apologies for the late announcement on this, but I'm sure that cgmerek will be happy to know that she is the winner of the random drawing for our October winner. I love what cgmerek did with the shaker box. She took it and turned it into a dimensional pocket for a booklet of memorabilia. So clever. If you have not taken the time to go see what others have done with some of the wonderful videos that are available, take a minute and check them out. Cgmerek will get to choose from the prize list shown here. Congratulations and thank you for participating. Also, thank you to all of the others that participated as well, I love seeing all the wonderful things that people are doing.

Paper crafting for a cause ...

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we've partnered up with Splitcoaststampers and their Hope You Can Cling To campaign. There will be a new card-making challenge every day on the Splitcoaststampers forum. Cards are going to the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas. The program has been a big success in years past, and has brought a lot of happiness to the patients and the people participating.

October Challenge

Did you know that in the Videos section that there is a special section called Project Tutorials? These are project specific tutorials that are for beginners as well as advanced Inspiration users. Well, if you didn't know, now you do and that brings us to this month's challenge.

September Challenge Winner

Congratulations to barbie_wag for winning the September Challenge. It has been so fun to see what Fall means to YOU.  If you have not taken a look at the entries, take a few minutes and go over the September Challenge folder, there are some truly amazing projects in here.

September Challenge

What does September mean to you? For me, it has changed throughout the years. As a child it meant an end to the lazy days of summer and back to school. I loved the process of back to school: buying new pens, pencils, crayons, etc. As a young mother, it meant that my kids were going to be going back to school, which meant volunteering for field trips, reading with kids, and more. Now as an older person without kids, it means it is getting colder, getting the yard ready for winter and of course, college football. This months challenge is to create a project or layout on what September means to you. Whether is it back to school, winter yard preparation, football, volleyball or something else, just have fun. After you have completed your project, go put it in the September Challenge Folder. Then about September 20, we will announce the winner of the random drawing.

Baby Splash Invitation

August Challenge Winner

Congratulations to Pazzles Craft Room Member, cdnmom, she made this really fun 'Baby Splash' card. She is the winner of the random drawing for the August Challenge.

August Challenge

The August Challenge is all about water. You can do a layout, card, project or anything you choose, as long as it associates with water in some way.

July Challenge Winner

For those that haven't had a chance to see the wonderful projects in the July Challenge, go take a look and be inspired. If you missed this challenge make sure to join us August 1st when we announce a new challenge and a new chance to win one of our fabulous prizes! Now to announce the winner for July! Drum Roll please....

July 2012 Challenge

This months challenge is Christmas in July (or whatever holiday you choose to celebrate in a normal December). You know how we always say we are going to start on our projects early this year, or make cards early and send them BEFORE the holidays? Well, this challenge is the perfect way to get started towards fulfilling those goals. You can make anything you want as long as it is something you will be using in the month of December, whether it is a gift, decoration or a card, just do it. Then share it in the July 2012 Challenge folder. If you haven't joined us for a challenge yet, this is the perfect time to do so. You can read more about the great prizes on the Challenge Page.

June Challenge Winner!

For June I challenged you to make a project using an image from the Craft Room Library that you had never used before. I think this was a really fun challenge and from the looks of it you guys had a lot of fun with it too! If you haven't seen all of the member made projects yet, make sure to check them out because they are incredible!

June Challenge!

Do you ever look around your craft area and think to yourself "I am not sure if my hobby is crafting....or collecting."? I know many of you log on and get your cutting files, carefully making sure to collect as many as you can, but how many of those files are still waiting to be used? With that in mind, here's this month's challenge: Make a new project using at least one image from the Pazzles Craft Room library that you have never used before.

May Challenge Winner!

It's that time again, time to announce our winner of the month for our challenge! This month the challenge was to create a Father's day project. Projects that are "manly" can be quiet a challenge indeed but you guys really rose to the occasion. If you haven't already, make sure to check out all the Father's Day projects!

May Challenge

Since we did Mother's Day last month, we are going to do Father's Day this month. So get a step ahead of the game and get your card done, or make a special box or other project for that special man in your life that has been a father or like a father to you. Don't forget to post a picture of your project to the May Challenge Folder. The winner will be chosen on or about the 15th and then announced about the 20th. Also, remember, that the winner is chosen by random drawing, so anyone can win, whether you are brand new to crafting and Pazzles or if you are an experienced crafter and Pazzles user. Take a look at the FABULOUS choice of prizes and read more about it.

April Challenge

I know that Mother's Day is a little over a month away, but how many of us wait until the very last minute to make our Mother's Day Cards or gifts? Well, this month's challenge will hopefully help you stay a step ahead. The challenge is to create a special card, box or other item for the 'mother' in your life. This could be your mother, a special neighbor, aunt, dad, etc. This is the person that has been a mother for you.

March Challenge Winner!

Congratulations to roundabout54 for being this months Challenge Winner. Roundabout54 made these beautiful masquerade masks, aren't they fabulous? She gets to choose from the prizes listed on the Challenge Page.

March Challenge

The challenge is GREEN this month. You can interpret that anyway you choose. After you are finished, just post your challenge into the March Challenge Folder. Remember, the challenge is not a contest, it is an opportunity for you to push yourself to use your Pazzles and learn more about it. If you are a beginner, use a shape or do a project to help you feel more comfortable cutting. If you are advanced, I'd love to see you stretch yourself, but of course you are free to do anything you want as long as it is GREEN or has GREEN in it somewhere.

February Challenge Winner

Congratulations to shelissarodriguez for being this months Challenge Winner. She gets to choose from the prizes listed on the Challenge Page. If you haven't had a chance to see all the great Valentine's created, be sure to go over to the February 2012 Challenge folder and check them out. So many of these projects can be used anytime, so why not take some time and do one yourself.

February Challenge

Now that you have seen our ideas for Valentine's Day, it is your turn! Remake one of our valentines or make a new valentine and show us your creation! Your Valentine can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, just do something! The only rule is NO recycling from last year! Remember the point of the challenge is to get you doing new things with your Inspiration!

January Challenge Winner

This was another FABULOUS CHALLENGE. It was so wonderful to see people stretching outside of their comfort zone to try something they hadn't done before. If you haven't seen the different projects that were put up, be sure and jump on over to check it out in the January Challenge folder. Congratulations to our winner, wranglersport. She stepped out of the box and tried the Photo Cut Tool for the first time. Then she put it on a layout to make it even more fabulous. If you want to try the Photo Cut tool, you can learn about it here, with a video from Christine, or go to Klo's Classroom and watch Class #10 from the January 6-9, 2012 Marathon of Classes. So what are you waiting for? Even if you didn't submit an entry to the challenge, you can still take the challenge and try something new to you today. We'd still love to see it.

January Challenge

Happy New Year! In the spirit of New Year's Resolutions this month's challenge is to try something new with your Pazzle's machine. It doesn't matter what you do as long as it's something you've never tried before. If you need help with the how to's of your project, make sure to check out the awesome Craft Room video tutorials or the archives in Klo's Classroom. This is the perfect challenge for a beginner who has never cut their first project or the master who needs to step out of their own comfort zone. If you are new to Pazzles and don't know about our challenges, go to the Challenge page and read all about it. When you get your project done, be sure and put it in the January Challenge Folder.

December Challenge WINNERS

WOW...WOW...WOW! That is what I consistently said for the December Challenge as I watched each entry posted. It has been so amazing to see all the wonderful things that people have been doing with the 12 Boxes of Christmas. I cannot explain to you how amazing it has been to see so many people participate. There were a few people that did every single box and there were some that did just one, regardless the response has been fabulous. It has been fun to see those from our Pazzle veterans to Pazzle beginners actually making their very first projects from the boxes. The amazing part is that every single box is absolutely terrific.

December Challenge

DON'T FORGET, we EXTENDED this Challenge through December 21, 2011 to give you more time to get them done. Read below for more details! Be sure and check out the AWESOME Entries so far (there are almost 100) and REMEMBER, the winners are chosen by RANDOM Drawing. December’s Challenge is going to go hand in hand with the 12 Boxes of Christmas. The challenge will be to make boxes with us as they are posted each day.
