Pop Up books are all the rage with kids. They seem to keep them completely occupied from start to finish. This book captivated me and that is why I chose it as this week’s Fabulous find. Just like Catherine’s book, I start many of my images from shapes and turn them into things. Animals are one of my favorite subjects. 
The little animals in this project are absolutely to die for. The adorable penguins made using layered hearts are so clever! The expressions on the animals are so cute with their dazed and confused looks. Patterned paper can often be limiting but this is an excellent use of animal prints with contrasting bold colors. Very nicely done Catherine! Kids and Adults will love this Pop Up book.

This is so great…I used to do pop up pages like this and kind of forgot about them…NOW, I want to do some more, thanks for reminding me of an old thing made new again.

I had complimented this in the gallery and have to say something again because I just think that this is so adorable. I know that kids love this things…they are so tactile, visual, and interactive. Like Klo….it really inspires me to make some more of these. Thanks ….and like I already said….what a great job you did!
