Page Maps!

Have you ever tried using a page map for your cards and scrapbooks? Page maps are a sensational way to get your creative juices flowing, but leave room for you to do your own thing and make something completely unique. I know all of us Creative Cutter users are all about making something that is one of a kind! Just like everyone else though, sometimes inspiration just doesn’t strike and we need a boost. Page maps can give you that boost and even help you try something you may not have ever thought of before!

You might be wondering what page maps are. Page maps are sketches of layouts designating where you should position photographs and embellishments on your page. They aren’t just for scrapbook pages though, they are great for mini pages, and cards too! Let me show you what I mean using a beautiful page layout created by designer Becky Fleck at PageMaps.com

Remember how I said Page Maps leave room for you to create something totally unique? Well when you look at this page take it liberally. You don’t have to use buttons or maybe you don’t want the journaling. Don’t use anything you don’t like or doesn’t work, and everything you do like, use! Here’s the pages that we created after being inspired by Becky’s map.

Page maps help me all the time. I use them no only in my scrap booking. But when I am doing cards or tags too. Thank you Becky

I have been enjoying Pagemaps for quite awhile. It is great to have a Pazzles version!

I’ve followed Becky’s PageMaps for years, since before she had her own website! I download her digital maps every month, even though I do paper layouts. I use the digital maps to size my pictures exactly right to fit her paper maps. I really hope she’ll do more designs for Pazzles (hey, Fleck, ya listenin’?), msybe we could have a monthly map just for us! Really, I’m a big fan. Her work is awesome!

Page maps are great for people like me who want to create a layout, but don’t really know where to start or how to assemble the page. I really like these! These would be great for my 12 year old daughter too because she can create a page and the only thing she needs to be concerned about is what kind of paper to use, not where to place the embellishments and images.

These are great and I love the new idea for the distressing tool. Thankyou. Dana
