First Projects

Do you remember your first project on your cutter? Perhaps that is not so far back to remember or perhaps, like me, that is now years ago. I still remember my first project which was four years ago on one of our now discontinued Creative Cutters. The first project is always a bit of a challenge – everything is new and unfamiliar and it can make you a little unsure. However the feeling you get when you finish that project and realize you have triumphed is truly a wonderful experience. Seeing Craft Room member, Bial’s, first project made me think of that first experience. Bial made this cute little expanding caterpillar invitation for her son’s first birthday. I love how Bial knew to not get crazy with her first project trying to do something elaborate. Even though her project is simple it is still so adorable and so clever. Great job Bial and thank you for sharing your first project with us, can’t wait to see more from you!

This is so cute! My daughter and I made a caterpillar cupcake cake for her son’s 1st birthday. Wish I had been smart enough to think of this. Great Job!!

This is cute. It reminds me of bulletin boards in classrooms. We used to cut these things out by hand. The Inspiration makes life so much easier. Congratulations,Bial!

This would also a great design for spelling out a child’s name on each body segment and then hanging it on their door. So much potential for one design!

Thank you everyone, it was a shock to log onto to see my first project featured. Everyone who received an invite loved it & were asking me how did you make that. I felt like I was a sales rep for Pazzles. I also used Pazzles to cut out some caterpillars to stick onto a bubble stick which was attached to the lolly bags. I couldn’t find any caterpillar decorations.
Now that I have recovered from the 1st bday will have to work on another project.
