Warm Thoughts Pocket Card

This is the perfect little pick-me-up card for your special friends and family. This Warm Thoughts card has a clever pocket for a packet of hot cocoa or apple cider mix. It’s the perfect antidote for the winter blahs.

The card includes many of the features that make the Pazzles Inspiration the perfect electronic cutter for complete customization of your project. I custom designed the pocket to hold the hot chocolate. The pocket and card are cut as one piece. Watch my video to learn how to make attached or separate pockets for any project.

The snowflakes are from the Pazzles Library but have been altered by adding more branches. They have been cut as single snowflakes and also inset into the card overlay.

The snowman is clipart that has been printed on a printer and then cut out on the cutter. But before the snowman was cut, accents were drawn with a glue pen using the Inspiration Pen Tool. Sparkly embossing powder was then sprinkled over the glue to add that fun, frosty look.

Be sure to grab the cutting files and instructions for the card. This card is the perfect way to boost your creative energy on a winter day!

LOVE IT! I can’t wait to make it for a few friends. The tutorials are awesome. They really help and Pazzles beginner such as myself.

I really like this idea. I was also thinking that it would be nice to put tickets or a gift certificate in the pocket for teenagers who are so hard to buy for!

Vickie, that is a great idea! You could tuck a candy bar, a cookie, or almost any fairly flat treat into the pocket. 🙂
