Are You a Visual Person? The Custom Color Palette Tool Can Help You!

Are you a visual person? Do you need to SEE a project in order to know if the colors will work? I know that I am, and I can’t always ‘see’ those colors in my mind. Sometimes what I envision in my mind does not work well when translated to paper and pattern. By the time I have found the right colors for my photo or layout I usually have papers strewn all over my workspace. The Inspiration Studio Pro Software has a wonderful tool that gives me a good idea of what colors of paper I need to look for. This is saving me a lot of time and frustration in choosing papers for my layouts.

The Custom Color Palette tool helps me envision what colors will work best to compliment my photo. The tool is simple to use and opens a whole new world of color to me. Now I can create my layout in the software and ‘see’ what colors would bring out the blue in my granddaughter’s eyes or the red in that rose.

The tool is really simple to use: select your photo and click on the tool. Wait a few seconds and the palette changes to reflect all of the color shades and hues in the photo! Then use it to build your project in the colors best suited for the photo. You can even print out the layout and take it with you to the store if you need to purchase papers.

Are you into Digital Scrapbooking? The Custom Color Palette tool is a terrific way to use the Inspiration Studio Software to create digital layouts. Do you like to use clipart with Print and Cut? Now you can create colored outlines (or bleeds) that are custom matched to the clipart. Do you have a special printed paper for your project and want to figure out what solid colors will compliment it? Scan in the paper to the software (or better yet, see if you can find a photo of it on the internet) and create a custom palette for that special paper.
