It’s a new year full of new promise and experiences. It’s also that time of year when the debt from the holidays starts showing up in the mailbox reminding us all of just how good of a Christmas we really had. I hope this lantern makes you see things on the “brighter” side of things and realize that with the New Year comes a lot of wonderful new experiences. Be excited for the challenges ahead and embrace those New Year resolutions you have, and stick with them! I hope that you enjoy creating this lantern for your own home décor, or for friends who could use a little “light” in their lives with the beginning of 2012.
Here is the cutting file and recipe for this project!

I just threw a baby shower for my daughter and I made lacy boxes with the battery lights in it. This lantern is beautiful and I’m sure I will find a use for it. Thanks!
