Making Friends in the Pazzles Community

I feel so blessed to be able to meet all of the wonderful people who own our Pazzles cutters. I have been going to Scrapbook Conventions, CHA and, most recently, retreats for 12 years now! Over the years I have been able to see some of you every year. My one sorrow in not doing conventions anymore was not getting to see my wonderful friends.

Now, we have the Pazzles Craft Room! One of the things I love the most about this community of people are the friendships that are being forged. I love having this kind of community at the Craft Room where people can come for help, training, and ideas. I also wanted the retreats for the same reason; I want to meet people who love to create just like I do. I want there to be a place where we can help each other, make new friends, and stay connected to old ones.

If you haven’t done so, I encourage you to dig a bit deeper into the Craft Room. Once you have read the blogs and visited the image library, take some time to go to the Gallery and to the Forums. You never know who you will find and just maybe you will find a friend for life. Read the post shared by Diane in the Craft Room forum below and you will understand what I mean. (That’s Diane and me at the Boise Retreat.) Join in the forums, go to a retreat or Cruise, or share your projects in the gallery. Maybe there is a special person waiting there to meet someone just like you!

Hi all! I just have to share with anyone who has gone to a retreat or planning on going to a retreat, I made a new friend for life!!!! My name is Diane and I live in Indiana, I went to the Retreat in Boise where I met Claudia, from Houston. We talked and played cards in the evening while at the Retreat. Well a few months ago, one of us said we should get together and Pazzle again. Claudia took the leap and booked a flight to Chicago. The first night we talked until 1am. Our first full day to Pazzle ended up only being a half day because guess what we did…talked, for the first 4 hours. When we finally got down to business, you should have seen what we got done. Whatever we cut, we cut 2, one for her and one for me….Anyway, the 2nd full day we spent in Chicago. I live 30 miles south of the city, but I never go, so it was just as exciting for me as it was for her. We got lots of pictures to scrap, we will have to share them soon! The 3rd day was spent at our Pazzles machine. At 730 PM we decided to take a drive back to the city and see it at night. We went to Buckingham Fountain and rode the Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier. It was a fabulous visit and I plan on visiting Claudia, in Houston, in October. Thank you Pazzles for the opportunity to make new friends and learn, all at the same time.

Thank you for sharing our story! I have been blessed with a wonderful friendship. I’m very excited also! I recently booked my flight to Houston to continue Pazzling with my new friend.

Prior to Boise I had no friends who were creative like myself. Meeting Diane and finding such a strong bond with her has been one of the greatest blessings in my life recently. I truly cannot wait for Diane to get to Houston, I want want to show her my hometown, H-town.

I met such GREAT people at Retreat #1. Maybe it’s about time for a reunion. 🙂

Roxeanne, Sounds great to me! That would be a great time. We would have to allow time in the schedule for visiting.
