12 Gifts of Christmas, Day 12: Holiday Candle Tag with Tucked Paper Ribbon

12 Days of Gift Wrapping, Day 12: Poinsettia Candle Tag with Tucked RibbonOn the twelfth day of Christmas, the Pazzles elves gave to me…

a mystery box full of Pazzles goodies!

For the final day in our 12 Days of Gift Wrapping, we’ve wrapped up some of our favorite Pazzles Products for one lucky commenter. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post to enter the drawing for this lovely package worth over $50!

I wanted this present’s gift wrap to be really special, so I created a new single-stroke drawing, the Poinsettia Candles, just for the occasion.  I combined the drawing with the top layer of a layered tag, and used a Copic Multiliner in the Inspiration Pen Tool to draw it.

When that was done, I cut the tag out, colored it in by hand, and layered the finished piece with the Tucked Paper Ribbon as an accent. The Tucked Ribbon is very easy to make, and there are perforated lines wherever you need to fold. I placed Pop Dots between the layers to hold it firmly together and add dimension.

Happy Crafting!

PS: If you don’t have the Pen Tool, try printing the image and then coloring it in.

Copic fits in the pen tool? Oh my, that’s all I needed to hear 🙂 I kept saying I’d like to try copic markers & that I want to get the pen tool for my new Pazzles… Now I really have a reason to looking into getting both! Thanks for all the amazing work you guys do & share. Happy Holidays

Dove, Yes the Multiliners, their small round pens, fit in the Pen Tool. The Sketch markers are not round, so they don’t fit the tool. But you can draw with the Multiliner and they are compatible with all of the other Copic Markers. 🙂 Have fun!

Jennifer, thanks!! I was worried I didn’t do it right. This was my first time ever coloring with alcohol markers. All I’ve done is watch videos on how to do it. I was nervous! 🙂
