I have sledding on the brain. My son received a new winter sled for Christmas and although we had snow on the ground for a few weeks before Christmas, it melted completely the day before. You can imagine where I am going with this. An eight year old boy has very little patience and he has been watching the weather and asking me daily when it will snow. He has finally resorted to begging to go up into the mountains. Hopefully we can find some snow this weekend so he can give his new sled a test run.
In the mean time, maybe a sled full of treats will take his mind off the weather for a few hours. Today’s project goes together easily and makes a perfect winter gift. Fill with treats or a small gift for a winter birthday. I’ve used some of the fabulous ARC Crafts BARC wood paper which takes this project to the next level, but a wood grain patterned paper would look beautiful as well.
