I love that we can take cutting files and mix and match to create unique items. I love boxes and when I saw the Compact Box cutting file, part of the Glamour Girl Collection, ideas started to spark. To create the bonnet hat, I created a larger circle for a base, along with a larger scalloped circle using the Scallop Sunshine cutting file. I sized it to fit and then embossed the top circle as well as the scalloped circle. I embellished with roses and leaves. In just a few minutes, I had created a cute party favor for my little guests on Easter Sunday. With this being finished I thought I should create an Easter basket to coordinate. For the Easter basket I used the Tool Box Caddy file. I wanted it coordinate so I scalloped the sides of the side panels. I used the Making Scallops Video to guide me through. I then went ahead and embossed the front panel. I added some ribbon on the sides of the panels and embellished with some roses and leaves.

I am in love with that cute as can be bonnet!! And the Tool Caddy File doesn’t look anything like a tool caddy! Its amazing how you can transform files that were originally designed for something else and into something completely different! Very cool!
