Do you have an Embossing Tool and have not used it? Spring time is here and there is no time like the present to try something new. Once you start using this tool you will be embossing on cards, tags and more…
For this project I created a card that is perfect for a first communion, baby shower or birthday. From the Pazzles Craft Room I used the baptismal dress file and the swirl flower file. To make the dress file into a card, highlight the card and select mirror, under adjustment select ‘vertical up’ then choose clone. This will create a duplicate dress that will be above the original. The next step is to join the two pieces together utilizing the weld tool. The last step is to create an outline around the card that will be the cutting line. All other pieces will be embossed.
One last thing! If you will be embossing text, it will need to be mirrored prior to embossing. I hope this short tutorial will help you step out of your box and try the Embossing tool.

I had never thought of creating a card out of just vellum. This is such a great idea. Love the detail the embossing brings out.
Beautiful card Shelissa! Love the soft vellum color you used and the gems for “sparkle”!
That is such a wonderful idea! Thank you for the inspiration!
This project is so beatiful and remind me my grand Ma, who made cards like this by hand, times ago
