Poinsettia Card

Poinsetta Piece Card made using Stencils cut on the Pazzles Inspiration

Hello Pazzles Craft Room friends. So glad to be here with you today. This month I was tasked with using the Pazzles Stencil Material. I set to work designing this pretty card.  It is that time of year again. Time to create some one-of-a-kind special cards for those few special people. This can be a Christmas card or sympathy card but remember that if you change the sentiment you can use this card for almost anything!

I used the files I created from the Poinsettia Stencil card file exclusively in the Pazzles Craft Room. I created the poinsettia flower and then used it to create my stencil. I cut out my stencil and then used some Brilliance Gold ink and sponged the ink on to some black cardstock. I love how the ink popped on the black background. I then cut out the same poinsettia file and layered the petals and leaves and also inked the edges to give the flowers some dimension.  I cut the little border out of black paper but then decided it didn’t pop enough so I sponged some gold paint onto it and thought that looked much better.

I then turned to my pen tool and wrote out the peace sentiment and then cut the banner. For the centers of the flowers, I added some pearls from my stash.  The papers used were some digital papers I created.  This project was such a pleasure to create and I hope the recipient will enjoy it!
