The month of November starts out as fall and ends in winter, at least in Idaho where I live. The early days of November still have the wonderful fall colors and smells. The last days are cold but not unbearably so. The holidays are approaching but they are not so close that I feel frantic. In other words, November makes me happy!
I wanted to incorporate the textures and colors of November on this calendar page. I used real burlap and twine along with traditional fall papers in small prints. The subtle pop of light teal blue is a fun surprise but works well with the oranges, browns and green. It also brings in a touch of winter to the page.
I used copper stickles to outline the title and to color the berries. The tall pumpkin is triple layered with pop dots and the smaller pumpkin is double layered.
