Summer has arrived here in the UK! I have made this summer themed card which oozes dimension and zest!
I have used the lemonade mason jar from the Backyard Summer Collection together with the Hello Sunshine Title from Miss Kate Cuttables found in the Pazzles Craft Room library.
I created a tent shaped base card using Kraft cardstock. I ran the front of the card through a circle embossing folder to give extra texture. I imported and resized my lemonade mason jar to fit on the front of my card. I cut out the various layers using coordinating papers and cardstock. I decided not to use the straw cutting file but just cut a thin strip of paper using my paper trimmer. I cut the strip of paper at an angle near the rim of the jar and arranged the top and bottom part of the straw between the layers.
I Print and Cut the Hello Sunshine title using white cardstock and arranged it to the front of the jar using self adhesive craft foam. I also cut the lemon in coordinating papers and cardstock.
Finally, I added some assorted sequins which I adhered to the top of the lemonade to create some fizz thus adding lots of dimension to the card.
