Have you seen those amazing Giant 3D flower arrangements that people have on their walls or those that adorn huge reception halls for special events? I have been admiring them for awhile, so I decided to make both a Large and a Giant 3D Cabbage Rose.
The large version measures about 5 inches in diameter, and it is a great size to use as a gift box or gift bag topper, or to decorate a craft room cabinet. The Giant version measures about 12” in diameter. It is possible to use this same cutting file and enlarge it to be up to 23” in diameter by selecting all, and dragging the size out until the base circle is 11.5” in diameter, if you really needed it to be that large.
If you are making a wall bouquet of giant roses, be sure to have plenty of cardstock on hand, as well as a hot glue gun and plenty of glue sticks for it. You will also need 1-3 sheets of dark green cardstock for the leaves, depending on the size of your rose. Heavy cardstock helps these huge flowers hold their shape better than lightweight cardstock.
