Personalized Family Tree

This is one of my all-time favorite projects. As I’ve said before, my family is one of the most important things in my life. I walk by this every day and see the family that came before me.

I decided to give these personalized gifts so they can have the same knowledge of where they came from. The hardest part of this project is getting all of the names and dates of birth.

I used to hand write on all the leaves but now with just a few supplies and using the Pazzles to cut and draw, it’s done in a matter of minutes. It’s a gift that lasts a lifetime.

Supplies:
18x24” Picture Frame
19x24” Strathmore artist paper, white, trimmed to 18x24”
8.5×11” Natural cardstock trimmed to 4.5×4.5” that matches paper above
19x24” Strathmore artist paper, textured sheets brown, cut into 2 19x12” pieces
4.5×4.5” brown artist paper, a scrap left over after tree trunk is cut.
8.5x11” peach (lime green) cardstock
(use any leaf color or multiple colors, I always make girls lighter colored)
8.5x11” red (or dark green) cardstock
Filled out paper family tree (the hardest part to get)

Mat Scraper tool
Paper cutter
