Celebrate Summer with this Piñata Watermelon Box
When I think of summer, I think of a sweet, juicy watermelon.So I search the pazzles library of files and found a watermelon box. So I re-created into this cute Kawaii project featuring everyone’s favorite summer treat!
Use for Parties or A Fun Kid’s Project
This piñata can be used as a party favor box, a table centerpiece accent, or mini piñata or a fun summer camp project for kids. Whatever you decide, you will have fun creating this project.
The Perfect Size for Treats and Small Gifts
This box measures approximately 5″ long by 5″ tall by 2″ tall which means you have plenty of space for cookies, candies, or smaller gifts. Of course, you also can resize it bigger or smaller to suit your needs!
Change Colors to Make a Pie Slice or Candy Corn
Need something for fall instead of summer? Just switch out a pumpkin color for the red and browns or creams for the green rind. Now you’ve got a piece of pumpkin pie! You could make an apple pie too by just adding some lattice details. What about a piece of candy corn? There are tons of options you can easily modify to!
SUPPLIES:
3 – 12 x 12 sheets cardstock Red
Or other option is; 1 sheet 12 x 12 cardstock in red and 1 roll of party streamer in red. Sample photo on right was created with party streamer
1 – 8 ½ x 11 sheet of cream cardstock
1 – 8 ½ x 11 sheet of green gingham or polka dot pattern paper
1 scrap piece of cardstock in pink, black, white and dark brown
Sharp long blade scissors
Aileens multipurpose glue
