DIY Laundry Sign
I love when someone contacts me and asks me to make them something special. I had an old high school friend ask me to make a few wooden signs for her and this laundry sign was one of them. She wanted to add a personal touch to freshen up the look of her laundry room. I used the font Amastery Script for “aundry Co” and made my own L. Because I’m too picky and could not find an L that I liked. I love this font there are so many more letter characters if you just search in character maps.
Customize the Date on a Purchased Frame or DIY Your Own
I came up with a design that included their wedding year, which she loved. I cut out the stencil and could not find the right board to put this design on. So, my handy dandy husband cut out a piece of plywood, stained it and then added a frame. The board was amazing and exactly what I wanted for this design. After using the stencil and painted the design on board. I hung it up in my laundry room. OH, now I want one but need to change the year to 2005 and I am probably going to resize it and make is bigger. I love large wooden pieces that take up the whole wall and my husband will cut out the wood for me.
