Custom Painted Sign for Your Home
Adding new custom décor around my house is something I do all the time. This large gather sign is above my French doors in my kitchen-dining room. These signs are affordable to make and super easy to customize in size, color, and text for any room in your house!
Fill Empty Spaces
There was a large empty space that needed to be filled. My husband had a scrap piece of plywood laying around. He cut the board down to fit into that space. You can also get pre-cut signs or go to your local home improvement store and they often will cut the wood down for you into the size you want.
Customize Text and Colors to Match Your Decor
I worked my magic to make it match my home décor and colors. I used my Pazzles to design and cut a stencil to paint the word “gather”. Now I have an original piece to make everyone who enters my kitchen-dining room feel welcomed. You can stain the board to match your home – even whitewash it. Then paint text in color of your choice. I have included the font I used below, it is a free font, so that you can use any word or phrase you like!
14x48” foot sanded and stained plywood board
Oracle 631 vinyl matte brown 12×24 sheet
Semi gloss white paint
Mod Podge Matte
Mat Scraper tool
Clear Transfer tape cut 12×24
Embossing heat tool
The font used for “gather” is Brotherhood Script
