DIY Bunny Decor Sign
If you’ve ever seen my projects you know that I love to reuse, repurpose, and get lots of value and use from my creations. This project is no different. I was thinking about bunnies as decorations for Easter and thought, hooray! We can make bunnies for Easter and the spring season on the back sides of the Snow Folk Door Decor from the Christmas season (which can be used until Valentine’s Day.)
Made from Stovetop Burner Cover
This bunny was done with the 8-inch white metal burner cover but could also be made with the 10-inch white metal burner cover. If you can’t find metal burner covers in white, you may be able to find them in black or another color and then spray paint them before adding the vinyl and paper pieces to create your bunnies (and/or snow folk), or for a quick, no-wait method you could cover the surface with a disk of white vinyl and you’re in business! You could also make the ears with felt for a really floppy look, or felt on cereal box/chipboard; just use the file to cut a pattern piece and trace it onto felt, or carefully cut around it without tracing it first.
Quick and Simple
This project will only take you a few minutes to complete and will look so cute for several seasons if stored carefully when not in use.
