DIY Happy Easter Sign
The Pazzles Craft Room Library is a treasure trove of files that can be made exactly as is or modified or combined to make so many fun projects. I browsed through the Library with Easter and spring as my search parameters and what I found inspired me to make this mobile-style Easter sign to decorate our home for the Easter season (and maybe make a second or third for some presents.)
Over Two Feet Tall
The full height of the mobile sign is approximately 28 inches and the width is approximately 10 inches. All the items used for the project are generally easy to find and you likely have all of them in your supply stash already. Bright pastels were used but more traditional, subtle pastels could be substituted for the eggs papers.
Make in Half and Hour!
This project takes about 20 to 30 minutes to cut and assemble. The sign part at the top could be modified to include (or be placed instead of) your or the recipient’s family name. If you would like to hang it in a window you could attach a third piece of ⅜ inch ribbon in an upside-down V to behind the ears or the top portion of the Hello sign to hang it by and cut a second white bunny piece to cover over the ends of the ribbons.
Supplies:
12 x 12 inch colored cardstock in white, and bright pastels
⅜ inch double sided satin ribbon in two pastel colors, about 20 inches each
disposable plastic bread bag clip (or other hanging apparatus such as string, twine, ribbon, etc.)
Crafter’s tape or craft glue for paper
Glue pen
Hot glue gun & glue stick
