DIY Flat Top Milk Carton
I love making unique treat containers to deliver to friends. I get joy out of making it and my friends (hopefully) get joy out of receiving something handmade. It’s a win win! I wanted to make something versatile this time that could be adapted to any holiday or occasion, so I created a spin off of the traditional milk carton. This one has a flat top and closes with a tie.
The files for this project include lots of different options for embellishing. Besides a few tags and sentiment banners, there are cutting files and instructions for a rolled rose.
Embellish With Ribbons, Sequins, and Cutouts
I really like the layered look, so for my project today I cut out several of the embellishments and layered them up. I choose vintage watercolor looking ribbon and sparkly sequins to complete the shabby chic look. If you don’t want to try this style, no problem. Simply choose a sentiment banner and an embellishment to decorate with.
The files also include an optional base piece that is purely for decoration.
I’m hoping you’ll turn to this set of files again and again for many occasions and holidays!
