Easter Scrapbook Layout 2013

The inspiration for this fun Easter layout is the Cadbury Egg commercials with their bunny ear-wearing animals.

I love that I was able to take some of my older paper that I only had one sheet of each style, (Cloud 9 Designs) and cut them in half to create a two page layout with the papers matching. I took two matching cardstock pieces for the large mats, but then for the remainder of the layout, I used scraps.

If you don’t know how to use scraps with your cutter, there are a couple of fabulous tutorials to show you how to do that. Here is a past blog that gives you tips and links.

I also pulled out my fluid chalk ink to add more detail to my project. Here is a great video that tells you more about chalk ink if you haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet.

This layout actually goes together very quickly. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
