Hexagon Page

Recently, I have seen a lot of geometric shapes in scrapbook designs including the hexagon. I have always liked the hexagon shape. Perhaps it appeals to me because it is so symmetrical. I decided I wanted to make a page that incorporated hexagons and my favorite tool: the Pen Tool. Other than the hexagons in various sizes, this page has very few additional elements. Placement of the hexagon shapes is guided by the pen lines so getting everything lined up is a cinch. I stacked some of the hexagons on top of each other and randomly used pop dots as well. The twine is knotted at intervals which adds interest and gives an anchor point for gluing it down. You only need a few coordinating prints and matching solids to make this fun page!

If you need a refresher on how to use the Pen Tool, be sure to watch the video below.
