Have you noticed the pocket scrapbooking trend? I can see the appeal because everything is done on a smaller scale. You can slip those pictures in the pockets and create a few fun additions and call it good. You can also easily change it up at any time if you so desire. If you are a traditional scrapbook person, you can still use the pocket scrapbook elements on a 12 x 12 page. In fact, today’s project can be done either way.
I went to my first Easter Sunrise service last year. Usually, I am singing in the church choir so I can’t make the trip to the hilltop service. I am so glad I was able to finally experience what it is like to gather with others in the dark and watch the sun rise over the hills and river. I highly recommend you try it at least once in your life!
There are no instructions for making the page since it is pretty obvious how it goes together. Just ink the edges, glue together and add photos. Be sure to download the cutting files by clicking on the links below.
Have a blessed Easter everyone!
~Chris

Love this very much.
Thank you for keeping the reason for the season. The bunnies and eggs are always cute…but this is really pretty. Thank you.
BTW Christine….yet another thing that we apparently have in common…I was always in the choir too and missed out on some of festivities. We are going to the ocean to see the Easter baptisms this year! I can’t wait!
It’s gorgeous. I don’t do PL pages but I can see me adapting this to a full sheet. Thank you so much for sharing. I appreciate it.
Christine this is a beautiful project and, although I have never made a scrapbook page, this has certainly given me inspiration. It’s also lovely to see the meaning of Easter as we know it.

This is a fab layout, pocket or no pocket and just in time, my 96 year old mother’s church is having a sunrise service at my home tomorrow and I am — obviously–doing this layout! Thanks so much.
This is just beautiful!
