In the process of moving it’s so easy to misplace items and wonder which boxes things got packed in to. If you’re like me you probably tend to put all the electronics into one box or tote to make sure that it stays together. However, when you go to take everything out, it can be pretty confusing which cords go to which electronics. Even if you aren’t in the process of actually moving your entire home, it’s still a good idea to mark your cords in case you find you have to move your Inspiration.
I recently moved and have no idea which cord goes to my Inspiration. It looks similar to some of my other cords that are used for different electronics. If the power supply plugs in to my Inspiration can I still use it, even if it’s the wrong one?

Unfortunately due to different voltages of power supplies, it is never wise to use a different power source with your Inspiration. If you power on your Inspiration using a different power supply you will risk burning the motherboard out on your cutter. Now is a great time even if you aren’t in the process of moving, to mark your power supply with a sticker or writing indicating that those are in fact the correct cords to use with your Inspiration. The power cord has two pieces that connect together – the part that plugs in to your outlet which is called the power box, and the part that plugs in to your inspiration which is called a AC adapter. You cannot mix and match these with other cords! Once your cords are properly marked, you’ll never be at a loss as to which cords go with your Inspiration.
