Only four days to go until Christmas! If you are like me than you probably trying to wrap up your Christmas shopping and get everything wrapped and under the tree. For me, that’s about the time I realize that I need a lot of boxes in a lot of sizes that I don’t have for gifts like necklaces, cookies, and ornaments. A pretty box can make all the difference when getting a gift. Just imagine giving someone a plate of cookies versus giving them cookies in this beautiful box, the difference is huge! Yet again, I am so grateful I have my Inspiration to cut out everything I need. Making boxes in your software is actually fairly easy even though it can be intimidating! I have created a video tutorial for you on how to make a box and lid of any size, like the one pictured here. This box was so simple to make and isn’t it cute? I will also show you in the video how to create a window in the lid of your box and how to add a fancy edge (like a scallop) to your lid. I really think that this video should be on your “must watch” list because there is just so many applications for a nice box. I hope you enjoy it!
It’s funny, because I have had my Inspiration for about 3 years now. When, I first saw it, my reaction was that I wouldn’t have to buy as many things to embellish my cards and scrapbook pages. At that point in time, I had no idea that boxes would be a part of my creations…this machine does so many things that I never cease to be amazed at its capabilities. This box is really cute.
