Adjusting Your Settings

When we were creating the Inspiration we wanted it to be both easy to use while still being versatile enough to meet all your needs. Two very important factors when it comes to your Inspiration. Choosing your blade length and pressure is just one of the many ways we try to provide you both ease and versatility.

Do I always use the preset options for the blade length and pressure or can I change these settings?

The default settings are there to make cutting easy for you and a lot of times when people get started they will only use the starting settings provided in the software. However, we also wanted to make the Inspiration versatile enough to meet all of your cutting needs. You may find that by using more or less pressure and/or adjust the blade you get better cutting results. This can be because of the specific material you are using (such as a certain brand of paper) and even because of humidity. If your cuts aren’t coming out the way you want them to don’t be afraid to adjust the default settings. Think of the default settings as a recommended starting point. These settings often work great, but don’t be afraid to adjust them to maximize the cutting potential of your Inspiration.
