Lately I’ve had a few people enquire about the repeat button. For those of us who have been using the Inspiration for a while, we know how convenient using the repeat button can be.
I was using my Inspiration and turned off my cutter and then I wasn’t able to use the repeat button to cut my last project. Why did that happen?

Once you’ve created a project and cut it out with your Inspiration, the Inspiration has a memory that stores the last project you cut and with a simple press of the repeat button you can start another cut of the same project. If you turn your Inspiration off, the Inspiration’s memory is cleared and you won’t be able to repeat any projects you cut before turning the Inspiration off. Also if your file is extremely complex, the Inspiration may not have enough memory to remember the whole project and you will not be able to repeat it. You will always know when you can use the repeat feature because the repeat button will light up telling you that you can repeat the cut if you want.
A nice feature about the repeat button is the ability to continue to cut out the same project without having the software open. This is great for busy households (where you often have multiple people fighting over computer time) and when you plan on cutting multiples of the same project. Last week I heard from a mom doing a soccer fund raiser and needed her Inspiration to make 120 vinyl stickers, she was thrilled to know about the repeat button as she was a new Inspiration user. That way she was able to have the girls on the league place the vinyl on the mat, load the paper and then just simply press the repeat button on the Inspiration. She was so excited she even emailed me pictures of her completed project! The gang here at Pazzles is always excited to see your completed projects! After all, you’re our ‘inspiration’.
well, i definitely learned something.
I always thought the repeat button was just to cut a second or third time through chipboard. Just shows how much more our machines are capable of. I think I’m soooo lucky to own an Inspiration.

I’ve been using this all week…LOVE this one.
