When designing the Inspiration we tried to make things as simple as possible. One example of this is the guides on the Inspiration that help you properly position the mat when loading it into your Inspiration. This also helps properly align the mat if you ever have to reload your mat and want your cuts in the same location as before.
My mat will sometimes slip out of place when I’m cutting. What am I doing wrong?

It is important that your mat is properly positioned in the Inspiration or the mat may slip out of the Inspiration on one side or will load crooked. The guide on the Inspiration helps you to know exactly where you should load your mat into your Inspiration. The guide is a small “lip” on the Inspiration right next to the Pazzles logo on the right front side of the machine. This guide make properly positioning the mat almost effortless. If the mat at any point is lipped over the guide, the mat will be out of alignment with the rollers and as a result start to shift. That’s because the rollers won’t be able to hold the mat firmly in place. Make sure that when you load your mat into the Inspiration that you have the mat pushed over to the left hand side as far as possible so that it fits within the guide. Place the mat up against the rollers and then press the load/unload button. The Inspiration will load the mat into place and you’ll be ready to cut your project.
