Transporting Your Inspiration

Whether you’ve been a scrapbooker for a while or you’re new to paper crafting. The one thing that we all have in common is the desire to mingle with other crafters to share ideas, projects and learn the latest and greatest techniques. I can’t think of a better place to do all that than the Craft Room. I think before too long you’ll find yourself calling each other friends, not just fellow crafters with a thing or two in common. I know that a lot of you have coordinated events locally, and some that have even traveled across the U.S. to scrapbook together.

I will be going away to visit a friend of mine and we wanted to scrapbook together. I wanted to take my Inspiration, but I’m not sure the best way to transport my machine.

If traveling is in your agenda and you have intentions to take your Inspiration, you need to plan to carry your Inspiration on a flat, stable surface. Avoid tipping your Inspiration on its side and definitely don’t transport it upside down. Also, you will want to wrap your Inspiration in padding to protect it from bumps and dings that so often occur during travel. An easy way to transport your machine is with the Inspiration Tote Bag. The cost of the bag is just $50.00 and for those that have a Craft Room membership you get an extra 15% off! This is a convenient way to transport your Inspiration since the carry case has thick padding and is shaped to fit around your cutter nice and snug so that you avoid any unnecessary movement, sliding, bumps, and dings while you travel. The shoulder strap, handles, and suitcase sleeve also make it a convenient way to carry it to your destination. There’s also enough room to keep all your tools, cords, tool kit, mats, and manual so that you won’t risk misplacing or forgetting anything you need to craft away from home!
