Windows 7

The internet has allowed us to cross oceans, literally in a matter of seconds with the help of technology. Today there are so many wonderful ways to keep in touch with family and friends and, of course, crafting friends we meet online via email and Skype! The internet has proven to be very helpful when it comes to communicating with others who have the same hobbies as we do. Forums and even abandoned threads are still a great resource to help answer questions that you may have about your Inspiration and the software. Regardless of what level you are at learning and using your Inspiration, someone out there just like you probably had the same questions and posted to an online forum.

I’m currently in the process of upgrading my computer to Windows 7. I’ve read that there are Inspiration users who are having problems using Windows 7. Should I avoid purchasing this particular operating system?

While we know that forums and threads are extremely helpful in learning something new and troubleshooting questions you may have, they can also cause some unneeded anxieties as well. If you are thinking of upgrading to Windows 7 but have seen that a couple of people have had trouble you might think you can’t run your software on Windows 7. However here at Pazzles we carefully tested Windows 7 before publicly announcing that our software is compatible with it. Since then our entire office has switched to Windows 7 and continue to be issue free. The majority of Inspiration users who have made the switch to Windows 7 are up and running without problems as well. So when someone does report a problem it is important to remember that there are a variety of possible causes – perhaps a setting somewhere has changed, another new program is conflicting, the new operating system is more demanding on their computer, their new computer is defective, their computer or software is not properly set up, or one of many other possible causes. It’s easy to see a common denominator between a few customer’s problems and assume that it must be the culprit but that is not always the case. So make sure to do your own research and get your information from a reliable source such as directly from Pazzles. We have a wealth of experience that comes from our years of first hand experiences and countless interactions with thousands of Pazzles users across the world. We want you to enjoy your Pazzles experience as much as we do and will always try to help you make a informed decision!

I also use my Pazzles on Windows 7 and don’t have any problems at all, I would highly recommend both Windows 7 and Pazzles, remember if you have genuine copies of Windows 7 then Microsoft have an excellent web site should you have problems.

I use Windows 7 with my Inspiration and it works well. Thanks for staying on top of this Pazzles!

That’s all very well and good, however, it doesn’t help those of us who DO have a problem. Where can I go to figure out what the problem is? I live in a small town with VERY limited computer support. My windows 7 is factory installed, so the “software” was certainly not bootlegged or anything, followed installation guidelines exactly for my pazzles…..?????about to cry here!

The best thing you can do is give us a call Lydia. We can troubleshoot with you and even remotely access your computer if we need to and you are willing to let us. We’ve worked very hard with other people to find solutions to their problem and I know we will do the same for you!

I am using a laptop with Windows 7 64-bit os and I am having trouble updating my Inspiration Cutter.
First it told me that the help file couldn’t be found. I researched online for solution and found I had to download a Windows Help program WinHlp32.exe for windows 7. I downloaded and restarted Inspiration Program, and it then told me Cannot find the C://Programs Files (x86)\Pazzles\Pazzles Insitarion Studio\Inspiration.HLP file. Do you want to try to find file yourself? I attempted to find file but was unable to. It said i should try to reinstall Inspiration software which i did and still no luck. Can you please help me if you can?
