Cutter Glide and Your Blade

I’ll admit that almost all of my knives I use for preparing dinner at home need to be sharpened. I could barely cut through a tomato last night for dinner which got me thinking about the Inspiration blades. Yes, even though I may go home at the end of the day, my brain is still “Pazzling”. With a job this fun, it’s a pretty easy thing to do! To extend the life of your blade and get better cutting results, you’ll have to check out our Cutter Glide product.

I heard that Cutter Glide will help my blades last longer, is this true?

Cutter Glide is a great addition to your crafting supplies. It’s a silicone based lubricant that puts a protective film on your Inspiration blades. The silicone creates an instant bond to the surface of your blade and allows an increase of the blade life, as well as the performance of the blade. The Cutter Glide dries quickly and can be used on scissors, crafting knives as well as rotary cutters. I know that a lot of Inspiration user’s like to use Cutter Glide on new blades right away in preparation for big projects. The nice thing about using the Cutter Glide is that it works nicely on older blades as well. I save all of my old blades and use them to cut through chipboard since I never like using a new blade to complete these kinds of projects. I always feel that by adding a bit of Cutter Glide to my older well used blades I get a little more use out of them. So yes, as Melanie asked me last week, the cutter Glide will make a positive difference in the performance of your blades and their longevity as well as other household items that need to keep a sharp edge to increase their performance. The cost of the Cutter Glide is $10.00 and available in our Craft Room store under Supplies. Don’t forget for Craft Room members there’s a 15% discount on Pazzles products.

I just received my cutter glide in the mail the other day. Just as I thought I might need to change out my blade, because my cuts weren’t as crisp. After all, I have been using this blade since July with much extra cutting of projects during the holidays. Since I applied the cutter glide to my blade, the blade seem to perk up again making crisp cuts. Thanks for the idea to use older blades to cut heavier materials such as chipboard.

Too bad I can’t use this product on my kitchen knives. LOL
