I love my Inspiration and I know you all love yours too. When we say the possibilities are endless, we really mean it! I love knowing I can throw a custom themed party for friends and family creating everything I need with my Inspiration from the invitations, right down to the delicious cake and pastries I’ll serve. The hard part is deciding which idea I want to go with next. So my only real dilemma is finding more friends, or just throwing more parties!
Here’s how you can prepare your Inspiration to make it food safe ready to begin using your pastry kit. I have always recommended using wet wipes to clean the Inspiration, because they are tough to help to scrub surfaces and are also non abrasive. When it comes to cleaning your cutter in preparation for food, the Clorox disinfectant wipes work great. They are sanitary and are safe to use on food preparation surfaces, which means they are fine to use on your Inspiration as well as the pastry blade holder. To clean the Inspiration after using it for food crafting, take a Clorox disinfectant cloth and wipe the entire surface of your Inspiration. This includes the platform, the blade carriage swing arm, rollers and any other surface that could hold oils or pieces of fondant. Please keep in mind when cleaning your Inspiration to avoid the black, rubber belt that is attached to the blade carriage.
When purchasing a new pastry kit, take a few moments to wipe down everything that will come in contact with your edibles using the disinfectant wipes as well. It never hurts to take a little extra precaution. So whether you’re creating paper or edible projects, here’s a great way to help take care of your Inspiration in the process.
