I also would like to know why there is mention of the software? I have the pro… but do I need my computer, my cutting machine? What else…? Room rates are a single in a room?

  • Susan Boeglin

Oh my Diana. I attended the first retreat this past October in Idaho. Chris and Klo jam pack every minute they can full of training, training, training. I know so much about my Pazzles software now and how to manipulate files. I was a bit intimidated for two years before the retreat but now…wow! easy cheezy. I want to attend this one. Never been to Virginia and am already headed to Atlanta to visit my air Force son so this will be a great add on. 🙂 I hope my banker (hubby) agrees. 😉

    You will not regret attending.

  • Tamara HAzel

If i really dont know alot about the pazzle is this convention for me? I really want to learn how to use it, I can cut with it with the in=mages in the craftroom. Is it worth it for me to go? Hubby and I are going to Alaska on the following Tuesday so do I spen the money or not???

Diana, click on the Retreat FAQ link above, right under the picture. I think a good number of your questions will be answered.

Trina, I have put a link to a FAQ page under the picture. Most of your questions will be answered there. Thankfully, this hotel does not charge extra for a second person in the room. The rates are single or double occupancy.

Tamara, the retreat is a learning event. Some people think we should call it boot camp. I think Klo and I are a lot nicer than a boot camp leader!
You will learn how to make the most of your Inspiration software, from how to find the right pressure to how to make your own images. It is always worth it!

Tamra Hazel Yes, This is for you, I went to the first retreat and was so glad I did. Klo and Chris are so helpful and patient. They give you all the help you need. The retreat is fun and besides learning you make new friends.

I’m signed up and hotel room is booked but now I’m worried. I just bought my Pazzles 2 months ago so when I registered for the retreat I checked the option for owning the software. Now I’m thinking it’s a different kind of software – help?

  • Jody Johnson

When do we receive an email confirmation? I signed up on June 19. I’m so excited and can’t wait!!

  • Christine Post author

Tangee, you need the Pro version of our software. Why don’t you call into the office for clarification? You probably do not have the software needed but it is available at a great discount for retreat attendees.

BTW- the Pro software makes a lot of things even easier!!

  • Taressa Thompson

So SUPER excited – its official I am driving 9 hours all the way from Michigan to go to this retreat – I wasn’t able to go to Chicago one which was so much closer due to being out of town – but I am not missing out on this one! Cannot wait to meet everyone!

  • Nancy Moyer

I live not to far from Chantilly, so I was thinking about commuting. Is there a general outlook of the workshop times to see if it would be better to stay at the hotel or make the drive?

  • Cheryl Baez

I am so bummed. I got in, but all the rooms in the block were already booked and my friend missed out entirely as she went to register and it was completely sold out. Any chance she can come and look over my shoulder for a fee? I would love to be able to experience the weekend with a friend.

  • Cheryl Baez

BTW, I run my software in Parallels since you don’t offer a Mac version. I’ve never had any problems with my original software. Do you know of any issues I need to overcome with the upgrade? I ordered the upgraded software as a part of my registration.

  • Christine Post author

    Cheryl,

Check back in a day or so. I am working on getting the hotel to open more rooms for us at the lower rate.

I use the Pro software on my Mac and parallels with no problem. If you have issues we have several people who can help you.

  • Christine Post author

Nancy, each retreat’s schedule varies slightly but I have posted a Basic Schedule. Look up at the top of this page under the picture to find the link. 🙂

  • Nancy Moyer

I can’t find a link for the registration form. Does that mean that you aren’t taking any more reservations?

  • Christine Post author

Nancy if you email or call the office we can help you. We have a waiting list at the moment but you should get on it ASAP.

  • Judy Anderson

Can I be put on the waiting list? I was away on vacation, but will be in Chantilly visiting family that weekend.

  • Wendy Sloan

I am so sad that this retreat has sold out. Maybe other Pazzles fans would enjoy an informal show and tell or pattern swap before or after retreat activities? I am in Falls Church VA. I do a lot of print and cut dimensionals and event decor. Would love a chance to share and get to know other local Pazzles users.

  • Cheryl Baez

Ladies – it was so great to meet everyone and I’d love to have a list of everyone who was there so that we can contact each other and get together from time to time. If you are interested then please leave your email or contact me! I am the Cheryl who was sitting in the triangle! My email address is cheryl@tommyspest.com! Hope to hear from everyone!

  • Christine Post author

Cheryl, I will send an email list to everyone who attended the retreat along with a picture complete with names. Although, I am sure the Bermuda Triangle ladies will never forget each other! 🙂

  • Linda Weisholz

A big kudos to Chris and Klo. I consider myself pretty proficient with my Pazzles and PI Pro. I ‘ve learned some new tricks here and there, had a great time and met many wonderful people over the weekend. Even my DH met another husband and did some sight seeing and saw a baseball game together.
