The new Pazzles Inspiration Pen Tool has been anxiously awaited by those of us here in the Pazzles office and among our loyal customers. If you pre-ordered, rest assured that the shipping department is filling the orders as quickly as they can. If you have not ordered yet, all I can say is that the stack of pre-orders was pretty big so you will want to get your order in as soon as you can. 🙂
The new Pen Tool is so amazing!! We have shown you some great projects recently on the Craft Room blogs. Several of the projects featured the Pen Tool with those fatter pens that you all have been dying to use in your Inspiration. The new Pen Tool will accept pens as narrow as a ball point pen and as fat as a Sharpie® marker. That is a whole lot of pens!!
It is not hard to figure out how to use the Pen tool but there are some tricks that will jump start your creative process. Be sure to watch the short video below to learn the best way to use the Pen Tool with all different thicknesses of pens. Then, Create, Create, Create! Oh—and be sure to share your projects with us in the Craft Room Albums! We all want to be inspired to do fabulous things with all of the pens we can now use in the Pazzles Inspiration Pen Tool!!

So happy it on the way. What fun I’ll have with my markers ::)
Looking forward to the arrival of my new tool — it’s been shipped! Glad I watched this new video as the spacing of the tip appears to be closer to the paper (double dime) than the old tool (double nickle)
Thanks!
I seem to be having a problem with all the video tutorials they take so long to download or don’t download at all. Any suggestions please?
thanks for the info I just got mine in the mail today cannot wait to use it
Sheila, Have you updated your Quicktime lately? That seems to be a program that needs updated on a frequent basis.
Are you using Internet Explorer? Some people have better success using Google Chrome or FireFox. Both are free downloads easily found on the Internet.
Some people notice that a certain time of day works better for watching the videos. It could have something to do with the amount of users on your internet service. Kind of like how trying to use your cell phone at 5 pm on Friday is almost impossible in certain areas. 🙂
Finally, make sure you try the Low Res version of the video. It is in a smaller format and usually works for dial up.
I just got mine today too, but I seem to be having a lot of difficulty in getting the pens centered. I tried centering the large barrel Sharpie (fine point) and the thinner barrel Sharpie (ultra fine point), and could never get either of them to be exactly centered. I know there is probably a learning curve, but if anyone has any tips or tricks please post.

Make sure the pen is pushed all the way down into the barrel of the pen tool as far as it will go. It may help to take the pen tool apart and slide the pen into each piece separately. You may also want to wrap a bit of tape around the thinner end part of the sharpie. It may help to watch the video where Christine discusses all of these steps. If you are still having problems please contact us.
