This Cutting Collection has been in my head for some time and has finally come to life! I’m excited about all of the different possibilities the Shadow Box Cards Collection offers. Christine and I began designing this collection and had so many fun ides we had a hard time narrowing it down to just 10. We made the window shapes and all of the borders and tags interchangeable to give you endless creative ideas.
These cards require some simple assembly. You can find a downloadable PDF below that shows the basics. The borders can be added onto the top layer of the card or sandwiched in between the second and third layers so just the edges peek out. You can add a tag pocket to the back layer and add in one of the five tags, or use the files without a pocket. Mix and match the layers to create your own unique creation. Once your masterpiece is complete, these cards fold flat and fit inside the envelope we created.
For today’s sample projects we show you two different ways to use this collection. In my example I added a pocket and tag to the back piece and used the Wedding Bells cutting file to embellish the center. I finished the card off with a pen tool sentiment banner. Amanda chose to use stamps for the center of her adorable card. The layers make the perfect backdrop for creating a little diorama scene and she has done just that.
