Every family has their own Thanksgiving traditions. It begins around the table with generations of love, delicious recipes and the memories of times past. A tradition we had growing is up is that all the children in the family sat at the kids table. I loved that it was set exactly like the grownup’s table, except a miniature version just for us.
I decided to help you introduce a new holiday tradition this year. Give the kids a craft they can make at their table while the adults are cleaning up after dinner. Cut out several different feathers and headbands in an assortment of solid and patterned papers, lay them all out on the table and let the kids imaginations run wild. I promise they’ll have as much fun creating the headbands as you had preparing such a fun project for them to make. I kept the files simple so they were easy to assemble by little hands and without any special instructions.
