It’s typography week in the Pazzles Craft Room. Each day this week the Design Team will inspire you with projects based around numbers and letters. We hope you pick up a new technique or find something that you can’t wait to try out yourself!
I’m always looking for different ways to set up my scrapbook layouts. While walking through the Expo I always see cute word frames that cost a lot of money. Well, you know and I know, it’s just paper. I started with my Inspiration Studio Pro software and found a font that had a little chunk to it. I typed a number 1 and then drew lines to give some separation for pictures. Then I added an outline and thickened all the lines. With a quick push of the WYSIWYG button I had a file which I then saved in a WPC format.
With my new file and my Invue software I took a whole sheet of black 12″ x 12″ paper and put it on the mat, then cut out just the inside lines leaving holes for my pictures. I then took a sheet of white and cut out the whole file and the rest of the lettering giving me an outline to fit over the holes in the black paper accentuating to accentuate the #1. I added my pictures and the rest of my lettering, and I’ve got a great page. You can also frame it for the wall and this one does not cost a fortune.

great thinking, love it
very clever
You can also take that file and import your pictures and insert them into the file while in the program. Arrange them the way you want them. Then export as a picture and take to a print company. Just in case you don’t have paper… LOL
