Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you and it’s my turn to share. Here is the project I came up with. It is a desk organizer. I was super excited to create this as a gift for my daughter. We recently moved and she has outfitted her new room with new decor and new furniture. I thought this would be the perfect little gift for her. I created the organizer by cutting black cardstock for the base pieces. I then used the DCWV Bella Armoire Stack for the patterned papers. I also created and cut the decorative accents like the photo corners and the drawer decorative pieces in black. I then embossed them with some Moonstone embossing powder by Zing to give them a metallic-brushed nickel kind of look. Once I adhered the decorative pieces to the bases, I then attached one unit to the next. I made the center easel pad-card area a little longer than a typical post it note pad size in case you wanted to put a calendar or photo on there. I just love how this set turned out and can’t wait to give it to her. I hope you will give this a try yourself.
