DIY Coupon Carrier
I was looking through my paper stash for another purpose and ran across the cute conversation paper which inspired me to make this project. I guess I had had organizers on my mind and the two just popped together in my creative thoughts.
Insert Keeps Everything Organized
I’ll be using this for making sure I have my coupons in order before I leave for the market, but this organizer could be made for other uses such as stamp collecting, sticker collecting, embellishment organization, or whatever you’d like. It can be made with just about any sturdy cardstock paper and any flexible material that either sticks or can be adhered to the creases to reinforce the bendy parts, such as washi tape, stickers, labels, or even strips of fabric.
15 Minute Project!
This project only takes around fifteen minutes to complete and is roughly 6 by 3 by ⅜ inch in size. This could certainly be resized in almost any direction to accommodate larger collections such as made ahead greeting cards or receipts. It’s handy to have a place in the car to keep receipts until they can be sorted to files or at least until you return home from running errands. These would be cute personalized with the recipient’s name, the content’s name, or a favorite quote, image outline or silhouette, or sports logo, and there are many options that might fit the bill in the Pazzles Craft Room Library from images to titles to letters you can choose from.
Supplies:
12″ by 12″ cardstock in coordinating pattern and solid
Washi tape in coordinating color
Crafter’s tape or non-wrinkling glue
Velcro, small magnet, elastic string, or satin ribbon for closure
